My Services
- At Julia Williams Interiors, I specialize in creating beautiful, functional spaces that support physical needs while still reflecting your personal style. Whether you're looking to remodel a kitchen or bath, adapt an entry or secondary space to allow continued use due to a medical condition or after an accident, or if you are downsizing or transitioning into a retirement community, I'm here to help!
- My services include aging-in-place adaptations, professional AutoCAD drafting, space planning, lighting design, furniture and fixture consultation, and color consulting.
- My approach is to get to know my clients - their abilities, their personal histories, and especially how they choose to live and thrive in their homes. I work collaboratively with them to hone their wish lists into a concrete plan of action which I use to create spaces that reflect their unique style and personality, support their functionality, and provide the comfort and beauty they deserve.

About Me
As a southern California native, my childhood memories are filled with family beach days and annual vacations in Yosemite. In 2002 my husband and I relocated to Portland, Oregon where our family has been enjoying all the beauty that the Pacific Northwest provides. My hobbies include reading, gardening, year-round hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
I received my undergraduate degree in Fine Art from UCLA in 1996, followed by an Interior Architectural Design degree from Santa Monica College in 2002. After starting my own business in 2005, I have specialized in residential, senior living, and aging-in-place projects. In 2024, I went back to school to earn both a Professional Certificate of Gerontology from Portland Community College, and to become a Certified Aging In Place Specialist (CAPS) from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
I am also a Professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and a certificate holder of the National Council for Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ) exam (#021579).

What My Clients Are Saying
"This has been the most painless remodel we've ever been through, starting with a great designer: your ideas, the precision of your drawings, your accessibility and the suggestion of [a cabinet supplier] who is also very detail-oriented. Thank you so much for everything. We give you 5-stars!"
- John & Kathy B.
Thank you, Julia, for helping me with my kitchen design. I really appreciate your meticulous work and time you spent with me!"
